The leaves are all yellow and gold as I look out on the woods in my backyard. Last year I created a monotype which was inspired by the beautiful fall view. I am posting this image, called "Autumn" and another lovely fall painting, called "The Point".
Lots of new happenings in the next couple of weeks. I have been invited to participate in a show in Concord, MA and will have 5 paintings in that show. It is a major fund-raiser for "The Jericho Road Project and the opening reception is on Nov. 11, 2010. If you are planning to come, please call me for directions.
I will also be showing about 20 paintings at the Exeter Library for the months of November and December. Stop by if you are in the area and see the work.
Last, but far from least, a new series of watercolor classes will be starting on October 28th at my studio in Kingston. I still have one or two openings in the morning class and the evening class. Classes are held on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 AM and 6:30-8:30 PM. The classes are fun and exciting. We have a great time each week. Maybe you can join us for this 6 week session. Let me know right away if you are interested because I strictly limit class size in order to give everyone lots of individual attention.
